Ha it’s Me! I’m Gretchen Jessup: a passionate Singer, Actress, Creative and Enjoyer of a good car ride. I am well known among my friends for daydreaming or crafting a solid spotify playlist. My greatest influences: Anita Baker, Durand Bernarr, Lucky Daye and Destiny’s Child taught me music is meant to be felt not heard. My formative years were spent in Buffalo, New York: The City of Good Neighbors. From my earliest memories I can trace back the importance of being surrounded by a strong sense of community. Whether it was with my three younger siblings, Summer Camp, or music class; I knew the world was my home. As a Performer, I strive to tell stories that bring dignity and adoration to the experience of being a human. Our fast-paced world deserves artists who can laugh, and cry and shout with their audiences. My goal is to create work that welcomes even the most unexpected crowds.
